The Study of Artefacts Jan 2005

In January 2005, all three classes of 1E students went to the History Room where artefacts were laid out on the tables for them to examine and draw inferences from. The categories were as follows:
1) Natural products
2) Metal artefacts
3) Teacher's family's artefacts
4) Teacher's personal artefacts from school and childhood
5) Artefacts from Singapore's past

A test was set on artefacts. Students had to draw simple inferences such as how old, what material was it made of, and what was the artefact's purpose from artefacts placed in envelopes.
